Dean's List
During the spring and fall semesters, the Dean’s List recognizes Undergraduate students for academic achievement. Students are eligible upon completion of at least 12 quality credit hours during the semester and earn a semester grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. Courses taken on a credit/no credit basis, except for student teaching, are not considered quality hours and do not count toward the required 12 credit hours. Students on the Dean’s List may obtain their certificate of recognition from their respective Dean’s office after the first month of the following semester. Students without a declared major are under the Dean of Arts and Sciences.
Students enrolled only in student teaching (a credit/no credit course) are eligible for the Dean’s List if they:
- Successfully complete student teaching, and
- Enter the semester with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours,
Students enrolled in student teaching plus additional graded coursework are eligible if they:
- Are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours,
- Successfully complete student teaching, and
- Earn a minimum semester GPA of 3.5 in the graded coursework
