Interior and Product Design (IPD)

IPD 803P – Design Studio IV     3 credit hours

Advanced design problem-solving in the context of complex commercial and residential environments.

IPD 805P – Design Research Methods     3 credit hours

The study and application of design problem solving including theory, methods, and contexts. Students will develop a research proposal that will direct their interior design capstone project.

IPD 807P – Design Capstone Project     3 credit hours

Self-directed design capstone project based on research and review. The student will develop unique and applicable design solutions, grounded in clear research methodology and theoretical foundations.

IPD 846P – Professional Practice for Design     3 credit hours

Study of ethics, principles, and processes of professional design practice, management of design projects, the principles, and processes that define the profession and the value of interior design to society.
