Graduate Degrees and Programs
The University of Nebraska at Kearney is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission1 to offer the following graduate degrees: Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Athletic Training, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, Master of Science in Education, and Education Specialist degree.
Students should check the appropriate section of the current Graduate Catalog for information regarding advanced degrees in an area of particular interest. The catalog is available on the Web at unk.edu/catalog/graduate.
The Specialist Degree is offered in Educational Administration, Counseling, and School Psychology. These programs are discussed in the General Requirements section of the Graduate Catalog and in the individual department sections.
Graduate coursework is offered by some departments which do not offer an advanced degree program. A student may select courses from these departments for personal enrichment, for transfer to another institution, or as part of an approved degree program.
